John has over 35 years of experience in facilities and master planning, architectural design, project management, and contract administration. In addition to his project responsibilities, John has been actively involved in studio and firm management at the board of directors level for over a decade. In addition to being a Principal, John serves as Marshall Craft’s Education Studio Lead. Over the past 20-plus years, John’s work has been focused primarily on master planning and the design of educational facilities. His work includes projects for various public and private higher education and K-12 institutions.

John has presented at various conferences, including with the Society for College and University Planning and at the National Association of Business Officers events, where he shared professional insight on such topics as transformative planning, sustainable design, and sustainable master planning. John also authored for Maryland Construction Network an article titled “Adoption of ‘Green’ Construction Codes by Maryland Jurisdictions.”
