Kim began her career as a project architect designing for some of the most respected healthcare systems in the mid-Atlantic region. Having built a reputation for consistently delivering quality multi-million-dollar healthcare projects successfully and on budget, Kim joined Marshall Craft in 2021 to lead our Healthcare Studio. She was elected Vice President in 2024 and continues to be actively engaged in our healthcare work.

Kim manages multifaceted teams that design complex and large-scale healthcare projects. These projects include acute care and behavioral health facilities, outpatient care centers, crisis intervention and substance abuse treatment centers, administrative buildings, maintenance and infrastructure, and support facilities.

Kim’s passion lies in behavioral health design. With every project, Kim strives to engage user groups and apply inclusive, evidence-informed design principles and sustainable practices to create therapeutic spaces that promote healing and wellness. Kim fosters a collaborative team environment with her clients and colleagues that encourages idea sharing, including creative, out-of-the-box solutions for resolving unique project challenges.

Kim also seeks to share her passion for mentorship and healthcare design through civic involvement. She serves as Marshall Craft’s corporate sponsor for the Women in Healthcare, Washington, DC chapter, where she is on the Board of Directors and actively advocates for diversity and volunteerism as Membership co-chair.
